Benchmark Advisory Committee member David Mank presents at National Leadership Consortium

Dr. David Mank, a member of the Benchmark Human Services Advisory Committee and Director of the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community, was a featured co-presenter at the National Leadership Consortium on Developmental Disabilities held earlier this month and hosted by the University of Delaware’s Department of Human Development and Family Studies.

Mank presented “The Challenges of UCEDD Leadership” along with Bob Bacon, Director, Center for Disabilities and Development at the University of Iowa

The National Leadership Consortium on Developmental Disabilities at the
University of Delaware is a partnership of national developmental disabilities organizations.  

The goal of the National Leadership Consortium is to assure the quality and commitment of the next generation of leaders for government and nonprofit organizations serving people with developmental disabilities

Dr. Mank is known nationally for his work in employment strategies and policies related to persons with disabilities. He has been published extensively on issues regarding supported employment, job performance and integration outcomes for people with disabilities and psychiatric issues, and related public policy and system issues.
