General responsibilities:

Act as the onsite crisis team leader. Provide clinical crisis services to individuals in crisis. Provide overall clinical supports to consumers and staff working in Georgia Mobile Crisis Response Services.  Must be willing to flex schedule accordingly to provide services, supports, care and treatment to individuals as required, respond immediately when dispatched on crisis responses, and be present to provide supervision to staff.  Must be experienced and competent in profession and maintain any applicable license, training, and/or certifications.

Specific responsibilities:

1.    Complete crisis assessments, including CIWA, CANS and suicide

2.    Answer 100% of crisis dispatches, and respond to crisis within 45 minutes if within a 30 mile radius, and within 90 minutes outside the 30 mile radius

3.    Assist for safety and complete involuntary commitment as needed (LCSW only)

4.    Develop discharge plans detailing the discontinuation from crisis support services

5.    Follow up with individuals IDT to ensure they adhere to crisis-service-recommended support/service.

6.    Facilitate referrals quickly to prevent escalation of crisis

7.    Ensure customer service satisfaction surveys are given to consumers of crisis services

8.    Complete necessary documentation to facilitate reimbursement through primary funding sources

9.    Comply with all standards to ensure the health and safety of all staff and consumers

10.  Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

1.    Valid drivers license and personal auto insurance

2.    LCSW, LPC, LMFT or RN

3.    Meets criteria to maintain license

Provide training to Extensive Supports Needs clients in all identified areas and function as part of the interdisciplinary team. Must be willing to flex schedule according to client's needs. Follow food management policies and assists clients in preparing nutritious meals according to the menu. Practice Safety Drills. Attend all scheduled training and staff meetings. Assist with personal care as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all staff and clients that we serve Must report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation to supervisor or dept. head. Provide communication regarding client, home, or work related needs to supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Must have high school diploma or GED. Some college preferred. 2. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral needs. 3. Valid driver’s license.
