There are several camp programs offered at Red Cedar throughout the summer months. These programs provide numerous active and passive activities and are available for kids and adults. There is literally something for everyone at Red Cedar.

Camps & Programs For Kids
without Disabilities

Discovery Kids Camp

Discover nature, discover yourself, and discover fun at Camp Red Cedar! This exciting day camp for kids ages 6 – 13 is all about fun and making discoveries. You’ll enjoy swimming, playing games, boating, fishing, arts and crafts, music, drama, nature activities, hay rides, sports, sand dune races, scavenger hunts and much more! Camp runs Monday through Friday. Drop off time is 7:30 am – 8:00 am. Pick up time is 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm. Campers must bring their own lunch; afternoon snacks and water are provided.       
Cost: $150 per week.

Range Riders

If you love horses, this camp is for you! Range Riders is for horse enthusiasts ages 8 – 15 or kids who want to learn more about horses. Camp Red Cedar’s certified instructors stress safety while teaching you all about horses and how to care for them. Learn horsemanship and enjoy trail rides through the woods and around Camp Red Cedar’s beautiful lake. You’ll also play games, swim and participate in other camp activities. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 8 am – 4 pm. Campers must bring their own lunch; afternoon snacks and water are provided.       Cost: $275 per week.

Camps & Programs for Kids and Adults
with Disabilities

Adventure Camp

Adventures abound for campers with disabilities ages 6 – 21. Your adventure begins the minute you arrive.  Each activity is designed to broaden your skills, expand your awareness, help you make friends and, of course, have fun! Play games, work on arts and crafts, learn about nature and swim or float in the Mad Anthonys Old Swimmin’ Hole. You’ll also enjoy music and singing around the campfire. Whatever your interests, Camp Red Cedar is completely accessible so you can easily participate in all activities.  

Camp Red Cedar’s staff is trained to work with individuals with mild to severe disabilities and encourage participation and independence. To ensure your safety and personal attention, the counselor to camper ratio is small groups up to three depending on a camper’s ability. Camp runs weekly throughout the summer, Monday through Friday, 8 am – 3 pm. Campers will need to bring their own lunch; afternoon snacks and water are provided. Space is limited for this camp so sign up early!!
Cost: $325 per week.

Quest Retreat

This five-day residential retreat for adults with disabilities ages 18 and older guarantees unique experiences and exciting adventures. Enjoy swimming or floating, boating, fishing, arts and crafts, nature programs, campfires and horseback riding. Campers stay overnight in Camp Red Cedar’s cabins. All meals provided.

Check-in for the overnight camp begins Monday from 8am-10am. Check out is Friday from 1 pm.  Camp times for the day only is from 9am - 8pm.

Cost: $625 per week for overnight or $550 for day only.
