In 2003, AWS was the first provider in the State of Indiana to build and open group homes for individuals with extensive medical needs.
Residential Services
AWS Residential Services' primary goal is to apply our standards of health, safety and respect as we help people with disabilities get as much out of life as possible.
As a leader in providing residential services, AWS has been at the forefront of developing residential options, including moving individuals from state-run facilities and nursing homes into community living settings.
We offer a broad spectrum of residential care that includes 24-hour care to several hours a week, serving individuals of all abilities. From extensive behavioral and extensive medical to general developmental needs, AWS customizes services to help individuals thrive.
Whether in an AWS Group Home or receiving Waiver funded services in an apartment or home within the community, there's nothing more important than the opportunity to live a full life.
Group Homes
Our Group Homes reflect the warmth and comfort you expect in a home, while offering the design to accommodate a variety of needs and a well-trained staff to ensure the safety and security your loved one requires to live a full, rich life. Likewise, all homes are situated in attractive neighborhoods.
Consistent standards
Whether AWS works in company-operated Group Homes or private homes, it's the environment that AWS creates that makes the biggest difference.
That's because, no matter where we provide our services, our mission remains the same — to help people with disabilities reach their maximum potential.
