A Place for You
We've expanded and enhanced our programs to
provide clients with the best, most up-to-date
services possible. New for 2006 is A Place
for You, a private pay program.
Recent state and federal cutbacks have made it increasingly difficult for individuals with disabilities to qualify for funding for essential services, and those that do qualify are put on a multi-year waiting list. A Place for You gives families the option of choosing the services they want for their loved one when they want or need to use them. AWS is one of the first agencies in the area to offer private pay services.

Our mission is to help children and adults with disabilities live as independently as possible, be included in the community and function at their maximum potential. In order to fulfill our mission, we feel it is important to give people as many options as possible. Private pay is one way that individuals and families can access services when they need them. AWS understands that A Place for You may not be the best solution for all families, however, it is a viable option for those who cannot wait for services.

Social Club
The Social Club brings together individuals who want to have fun and explore their community. Each month an events calendar is developed that takes advantage of local attractions and happenings in the Fort Wayne area.
