Outreach Services
Through collaborative working relationships with all consumers, advocates, providers and state agencies Outreach provides staff training, technical assistance, consultation and backup service provision throughout Indiana to improve the life and support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, service providers, and targeted case managers.
Below is a sampling of the services we provide:
- Provide formal training
- Provide technical assistance
- Provide consultation
- Provide references, resources, and current literature
- Track, monitor, and support individuals with high risk needs
- Provide limited clinical back-up services when they are not available in the community in the areas of behavioral services, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing, dietary services, adaptive equipment repair, communication/speech services, assistive technology evaluation, seating assessments, alternative positioning evaluation, dysphagia evaluations, and QMRP services.
- Short-term psychiatric consultation services weekly in Northern, Central, and Southern Indiana.
- Statewide Human Rights Committee
